Description

This parameter specifies the IPv4 address of CDRouter’s DOCSIS RFC868 time server on the WAN. This address will be provided dynamically to the CM’s DHCP client by CDRouter’s DOCSIS DHCP server using the DHCP Time Server option (option 2). CDRouter’s DOCSIS DHCP server will also include the Time Offset option (option 4) with a value of 0 in all DHCP messages sent to the DOCSIS client.

Note that when queried CDRouter’s time server will provide the system’s current time to the DUT’s DOCSIS client.

If not defined, this testvar defaults to the next address after docsisLogServer. For example, if docsisLogServer is 10.10.10.5 then docsisTimeServer would default to 10.10.10.6.
