Can I add a custom DNS entry using an IPv6 address?

knowledge-base version 13.3

Yes. CDRouter’s internal DNS servers may be configured with mixed lists of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses for each hostname entry. Lists of IPv4 and/or IPv6 addresses should be placed in quotes.

Examples:

testvar dnsHostname1 foo.test.com
testvar dnsIp1 5.5.5.5

testvar dnsHostname2 ipv6host.test.com
testvar dnsIp2 3001:4860:0:2222::68

testvar dnsHostname3 test.cdroutertest.com
testvar dnsIp3 “5.5.5.5 3001:cafe::1 7.7.7.7"

These entries will be available in all the DNS servers that are defined:
