The NTA1000 from QA Cafe is a pre-configured high performance network test appliance optimized for use with CDRouter, the industry’s leading CPE and router functional test solution. The NTA1000 delivers CDRouter in a turn-key solution enabling rapid deployment of CDRouter in any test environment.
A Note About NTA1000 Hardware Versions
The NTA1000 system has evolved from its original version (v1) to v2, v3, v4, v5, and is now at v6. The v6 also comes in a 10G configuration where one wireless card is replaced by a 10Gb/s ethernet card. The v1, v2, v3, and v4 versions are no longer being shipped. This document refers to the fourth version NTA1000 (v4). While all versions look similar, there are some simple ways to tell which one you have from just a visual inspection. Please refer to the Quick Start Guide in order to get your NTA1000 up and running.
Normally, there is no reason to have to rebuild either of the internal disks. However, due to a disk failure or software corruption, etc., it may be necessary to restore either or both disks to their factory defaults. In addition, QA Cafe may create new disk images from time to time that feature updates to the underlying system (separate from CDRouter updates). If you need to rebuild either of your disks for any reason, you can find detailed instructions on how to do this here:
