RestartDut
Value Type
word
Also-Accepted Values
none prompt
Default Value
none
Description
This parameter specifies CDRouter’s behavior for resetting or initializing the DUT at the start of each test run.
If this testvar is set to none, CDRouter will immediately begin the test run, without executing any script or program and without displaying a restart prompt. Use this value if the DUT does not need to be reset or initialized at the start of each test run.
If this testvar is set to prompt, CDRouter with display a restart prompt before beginning the test run. Use this value if the DUT needs to be manually reset or initialized at the start of each test run.
If this testvar is set to any other value, CDRouter interprets it as a script or program that resets or initializes the DUT. CDRouter will execute this script or program at the beginning of the test run. Use this value if the DUT can be reset or initialized at the start of each test run in an automated fashion.
Please see the “Test Execution Options and Auto-Reboot Configuration” section of the CDRouter User Guide for more information on how to configure this testvar.
A practical example is provided in the following Knowledge Base article.
This testvar can be set to prompt to restore the initial restart prompt that was the default behavior in older versions of CDRouter.
