Description

This option enables or disables PPPoE connect-on-demand mode within CDRouter. This should be enabled if the DUT’s WAN-side PPPoE client is configured to only initiate a PPPoE connection when traffic is forwarded from the LAN. If the DUT’s WAN-side PPPoE client is configured to always initiate the PPPoE connection at startup, known as always-on mode, this option should be disabled.

If this option is enabled, CDRouter will attempt to force the DUT’s PPPoE client to initiate a connection by first creating a DHCP client on the LAN and forwarding traffic. When this option is disabled, CDRouter will wait for the DUT to initiate a WAN-side PPPoE connection before creating any LAN clients.
