Description
This parameter specifies the 802.11 channel used by CDRouter’s WAN access point. The default value of auto will force the access point to scan the selected frequency band and automatically select an appropriate channel. In most cases this should be sufficient for testing although a specific channel can be configured, if required. The following channels are supported:
2.4 GHz channels:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14
5 GHz channels:
36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80, 84, 92, 96, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136, 140, 144, 149, 153, 157, 161, 165, 169, 173, 177 and 181
Note that the list of available channels is restricted by the frequency band, regulatory settings, and capabilities of the underlying hardware and drivers.
Note that CDRouter does not support 6 GHz channels in AP Mode.
The wanApBand testvar and cdrouter-regdomain command can be used to specify the 802.11 frequency and regulatory domain of CDRouter’s WAN access point.
