This parameter specifies the DHCP lease time used by CDRouter’s DHCP server on the WAN side. This is the duration of the DHCP lease provided to the DUT’s DHCP client and will determine how long certain test cases run. The DHCP lease time should be at least twice the retransmission time of the DHCP client. Otherwise, the lease may timeout during DHCP retransmission tests. The lease should also be long enough to allow the DHCP client to deal with timeouts when it is trying to renew or rebind.
Setting this field to the keyword infinite will cause CDRouter’s DHCP server to return an infinite DHCP lease to the DUT. If the lease is infinite, tests that require the WAN client to renew will be automatically skipped by CDRouter.
