Description

This option defines the DUID type used by the CDRouter DHCPv6 client and server. Types 1, 2, and 3 are defined by RFC 3315 and type 4 is defined by RFC 6355.

• Type 1 DUID-LLT
• Type 2 DUID-EN
• Type 3 DUID-LL
• Type 4 DUID-UUID

Note: Using DUID type 1, 2 or 3 will result in a DUID that changes between every package run. For a consistent DUID value across package runs use type 4 (DUID-UUID).
