Description

This parameter specifies the 802.11 channel used by CDRouter’s WAN access point. The default value of auto will force the access point to scan the selected frequency band and automatically select an appropriate channel. In most cases this should be sufficient for testing although a specific channel can be configured, if required. The following channels are supported:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136, 140, 149, 153, 157, 161, and 165

Note that the list of available channels is restricted by the frequency band, regulatory settings, and capabilities of the underlying hardware and drivers. If the selected channel is not available or cannot be used, CDRouter will generate a warning and abort the test run.

The wanApBand and wirelessCountryCode parameters can be used to specify the 802.11 frequency and regulatory domain of CDRouter’s WAN access point.
