ipv6NtpServer2

Value Type

IPv6

Default Value

This testvar’s default value is computed dynamically and may not always be the value below. Please see the testvar’s description for details.

4321::24

Description

This parameter specifies the IPv6 address of the second NTP server created by CDRouter. This IP addresses should not conflict with any other network elements managed by CDRouter, such as the remote host IPv6 address or the ISP IPv6 address. A DNS entry can be created for this NTP server by also specifying a DNS hostname. Note that CDRouter can create up to two NTP servers on the WAN interface.

Note: Setting this testvar and ipv6NtpServer1 to “::” will prevent CDRouter from creating IPv6 NTP servers and will make CDRouter’s DHCPv6 server exclude the network time server option from responses.

If not defined in a WAN interface group, this testvar’s default is computed using the WAN interface group number. For example, if ipv6NtpServer2 is 4321::24 in the main testvar group, then ipv6NtpServer2 would default to 4321:0:0:2::24 in the testvar group wan2, 4321:0:0:3::24 in the testvar group wan3, etc.
