Description

The perfUdpLen controls the size of the UDP data packet sent and therefore, controls the size of the Ethernet frame sent. The default value is ‘auto’, which allows CDRouter to use the max frame size for IPv4 or IPv6. The max frame size for standard Ethernet is 1,518 bytes. This means that the max UDP data packet is 1,472 bytes for IPv4 and 1,452 bytes for IPv6.

NOTE: If you specify a value larger than the max UDP data packet, CDRouter will truncate it down to either the IPv4 max or IPv6 max values, specified above. The jumboMtu testvar can be used to increase the maximum mtu and with it the maximum UDP data packet size.

This testvar was added in CDRouter 9.3
