Description

This testvar may be set to:

  • “auto”
  • “2.4GHz”
  • “5GHz”
  • ”(channel)”

This parameter specifies the wireless channel that should be used when connecting to a specific device via a wireless connection. If this parameter is set to auto, 2.4GHz or 5GHz, CDRouter will attempt to associate with the closest access point whose SSID matches the testvar lanSSID. If this parameter is specified as a specific channel, CDRouter will attempt to associate to the specified SSID on that channel.

Note that CDRouter may not be able to associate with devices that use automatic channel detection/selection if the lanChannel differs from the channel that is used. We recommend configuring a specific channel on the DUT when using the lanChannel testvar to avoid association issues. The following values are supported:

2.4 GHz channels:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14

5 GHz channels:

36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80, 84, 92, 96, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136, 140, 144, 149, 153, 157, 161, 165, 169, 173, 177 and 181
