By default packet capture is disabled during performance tests. The perfEnableCapture testvar can be used to enable packet capture. Capturing data during a performance test generate large captures that can fill the disk on the system. For this reason this option should only be enabled if needed on short duration performance tests.
Packet capture can also be placed in control mode which will attempt to capture all non-data packets and any TCP control packets. This option will have an impact on the top level performance that can be achieved. However, this mode is useful for debugging issues related to NAT timeouts or unexpected TCP session resets during a performance test.
