Default Value

This testvar’s default value is computed dynamically and may not always be the value below. Please see the testvar’s description for details.

http://acs.cdroutertest.com:80/

Description

This parameter specifies the ACS URL that the DHCP server will announce in the Vendor Specific Information (DHCPv4 option 43 / DHCPv4 option 125 / DHCPv6 option 17) when the string “dslforum.org” (all lower case) is detected anywhere in the DHCPv4 Vendor Class Identifier (option 60), in the DHCPv4 V-I Vendor Class Option (option 124) or in a DHCPv6 Vendor Class (option 16) vendor-class-data item.

If not specified, the ACS will build a URL using a combination of acsTransport, acsDomain, and acsPort (acsTransport://acsDomain:acsPort/). This testvar can be used to override the default behavior and use DNS names if desired. Set this testvar to ’none’ to disable ACS URL discovery completely.
