Description

Some DynDNS clients look up their own configured dynDnsHostname in DNS before sending an update request, and abort if the lookup fails. Since CDRouter does not normally create a DNS record for dynDnsHostname until the client’s first successful update, these clients may never send an update. Set this option to yes to have CDRouter create a placeholder DNS record for dynDnsHostname before testing begins, so the initial lookup succeeds. The placeholder points at an address other than the DUT’s WAN address so the client still detects a change and sends an update, after which the record holds the address from the update.

Note that clients requiring this option look up their own hostname in DNS, so they are expected to fail cdrouter_dyndns_50.
